HIFI WALKER G7 Pro Android Player

Well this device was a pleasant surprise. I don't know exactly what I was expecting, except the MP3 players I've bought in recent history--admittedly, inexpensive ones--were pretty basic. My biggest hope was being able to download apps. I listen to different audio platforms, as well as music ones, and only being able to access apps that are preinstalled limits how useful the player can be. The Hifi Walker MP3 player is essentially like an Android13 (installed operating system) smartphone that doesn't text or make calls. (I've included a picture of the player next to one of my larger smartphones for size comparison.) It does pretty much everything else, including using the Internet for shopping, checking email and things like that. Really. It's wireless and Bluetooths. It has a camera--big surprise there. There is good color and clarity to the screen, and it works with touch. The sound is decent. Most of the storage is downloaded onto a micro SD 128GB card, so the HD is mostly running the operating system. There's 3GB of ram, enough to listen to what you want. I found my high power laptop Type-c cord would not charge the player. I moved to a lower power cord, and it charged great. But it doesn't charge super quickly--one of the few minor downsides. The player comes with instructions, a case, a wired headset with extra tips, a lanyard and charging cable. Everything you need. I am so pleased to have found this device, because I was using my phone to listen to my books and music, and I was having to charge it constantly. The Hifi Walker player is excellent, a real bargain. And I definitely recommend.

I saw this item on the Vine Program and jumped on the chance to have a Non-Phone Android device to bring with me on trips etc. This functions pretty well for having an extra device with tablet like functionality in a small form factor. With a few caveats.I was looking to get a "phone" to work with my Android Auto as an offline device. I really don't like having my phone paired with my car because it interrupts everything when I get an alert, phone call, text message etc. Having an extra android device has helped in the past as I can set navigation and music to play without having my main phone running it all. This device cannot do what I need for that purpose. This is a basic Android OS device that can have the play store, but will not allow for you to use Android core components. This is standard with Chinese made devices that aren't mainstream phones. Google requires licensing and such to access core components. So, that all said, they didn't advertise this for that purpose and I'm not losing on it... just wanted to mention that there are some limits.Much like the tablets I buy, this is great for simple gaming, streaming music from Spotify, downloading and running podcasts, running standard Android software like iRobot to control my Roomba etc.Sound is good and bluetooth connection is strong, with a decent battery life and no problems uninstalling bloatware. Screen is bright and it feels solid, responsive to touch. After almost 3 months of use and carrying I have no real issues with wear or damage. Very impressive for a small form factor tablet type device.I really like the USB C charging port which is a must for any modern device. I also like the buttons on the side which are responsive.Overall, great for a download and go, or light wifi use Android device, would be good for kids!

Cool device and essentially a phone without the phone or similar to an ipod touch in concept. Feels very well made and like a premium device. Screen is bright and crisp and performance is snappy. Only real negative is that it's a super fingerprint magnet on the entire device. Found a matte screen protector to put on the front and back that helped a lot. Fair price for the amount of storage and device capabilities. Would recommend.

I am already making plans to porridge another for my 4 year old as his brother had made his new "phone" lol so cool, and let's face it, it IS! Im 36, and this mp3 player is NOT the mp3 players from my teen years! Not so ALL! THIS BAD BOY may as well be a tablet, it functions nearly the same and does everything my son would use a phone for. If you have younger kids asking for a phone but don't get need a phone number, get them this! These are so much better use of money than those " kids phone" with cheap "educational" content and nursery rhymes using outdated tech! THIS is what your kids really want! My son is able to use Google play to download his favorite gaming apps, and he can use the mp3 player to even watch YouTube! Like i said, these are all the things he asks to use my phone for! He has a k kids messenger he uses to communicate with out family members like his cousins and grandma, and I've considered downloading the messenger kids app so he can indeed " call" family member while on there.This hijackers mp3 player is the ultimate hack for patents who aren't ready for their kids to have a phone but are OK with a tablet they can monitor. Since I'm signed up with Google, his kids profile is on the mp3 player so the content he can access is appropriate. The mp3 player comes with many preinstalled (factory) functions and apps mentioned in the product listing, including an fm radio. I'm so happy to see it came with a charger cord, headphones, and other accessories. It's very convenient that i can use a type c cord to charge it as most of my household phones and tablets use the same kind of charger.I wish I had researched this mp3 player more closely in the past! I was locked in on finding a kid phone that could appease my little one without adding them to my phone plan and I overlooked all the capabilities that this player has! It's a great device and I'm likely going to cave and get sorbet for my 4 year old!

this MP3 Player is probably the best one ive tried and heres why, its basically just a phone running android, so it was acess to all apps that your phone would, so i can listen to music on Spotify, watch videos on YouTube, surf the web, or even play games.it does have a camera, but the quality is pretty bad so not really useful for anything, it also has speakers but unfortunately the sound quality is bad too, but it does have a headphone jack so that is a really nice feature, it also comes with a 128GB microSD card so i can store alot of music and videos.if you have an extra old phone, id say just use that, instead of buying this, as it will do the same thing, although this does have a headphone jack so that can be a good benefit, but if you don't have an old phone and want a dedicated MP3 Player this is a great option as long as you understand what it is.
